In Sant Pere de Ribes, a picturesque town in Penedés surrounded by vineyards and forests, adjacent to Sitges, stands this residential home that captivates with its views to the Natural Park of Garraf.

This is a deeply personal project—an endeavor to design my own home as I evolve as an Interior Designer. It's a journey that seems endless, like the ongoing renovation of the Sagrada Familia. The house consists of 200 m2 and a 700 m2 garden offering stunning views to the valley.

The vision behind this ongoing renovation is to turn the original 1970s house into a modern-classic, elegant, functional, and cozy home for our family life.

The original wooden carpentry was replaced by aluminium windows and an English style, they frame all the beautiful views and enhance thermal comfort significantly.

The main bathroom, previously outdated and impractical, underwent a complete restructuring to accomodate a spacious double sink and a bathtub ingeniously nestled into the window sill, doubling as a shelf for indoor plants (orchids). We chose a timeless aesthetic, using Porcelanosa porcelanic tiles with a natural stone effect, beautifully complemented by wooden accessories and cotton fabrics. The ensuite bedroom was redecorated, and its bathroom renovated to visually connect both spaces, separated by a glass partition and half-height vinyl for privacy. All closets were upgraded with mouldings and lacquered in white—a significant transformation. We transformed a bedroom into a glamorous home office, framed with modern mouldings that breath elegance and create visual interest. Details like golden frames and handles enhance the beauty of this room. If you visit in two years, you'll witness that the best is yet to come.
